HUF X PEANUTS COLLABORATION - Debuting in 1950, Peanuts is an American comic strip written and illustrated by Charles M. Schulz. Originally syndicated in just 7 papers, Peanuts developed into a daily strip published in numerous American newspapers, reaching 2600 publications globally at its peak. Centered entirely on a society of young children and the beloved beagle Snoopy, the comic strip is one of the literate cartoons addressing philosophical, psychological, and sociological subject matter, establishing its position as an indelible icon of American culture to this day. Though primarily known for its lead characters Charlie Brown and Snoopy, HUF teams up with the Peanuts gang this Holiday 2016 to cast a light on the true 'underdogs' of the comic strip. Turning to Snoopy's desert-dwelling brother Spike, as well as Charlie Brown's dust-streaked companion Pigpen — who Schulz described as 'a human soil bank' — the HUF x Peanuts Collaboration celebrates the champion 'dirtbag crew' characters of the Peanuts gang with a capsule consisting of footwear, apparel, and accessories.
