HUF X BRITISH MILLERAIN COLLABORATION - Established in 1880, British Millerain is the world's premier manufacturer of waxed cotton. Millerain’s range of textiles has been developed through more than a century of refinement and testing using skills handed down through generations. Towards the end of the 1880s, these fabrics were developed to suit a wide variety of clothing requirements, from the rigors of life in the armed forces to the demands of country pursuits. Today, British Millerain is a major global supplier of performance textiles for commercial and military applications.

This season, HUF has hand-selected Millerain’s Bushwax 4 to be implemented on an Olive colorway of the Classic Hi shoe and a 6-panel hat. Bushwax 4 is a Staywax (Driden) material that offers the look and feel of a waxed product with the convenience of machine washing. Bushwax 4 was developed to endure the autoclave oven used in producing vulcanized shoes such as the Classic Hi. The material is able to retain its moisture-repelling properties without melting in the ovens.
